Does anyone remember when...

I'm feeling nostalgic for some reason this morning. ;) Do you guys remember when we used to do the Friday night chats in the chat room, just prior to the new releases going live? Those were so much fun! I wonder if there is any way to do something similar now (if folks were interested). Not sure if the current site offers a chat feature. Anyone know?
 
great minds... I was just thinking about that too... I think I only participated in one of them. The chats came weaved in my thoughts over how scrapping and styles have changed over the years...
 
I'd be interested too - chats are a great way to get know each other a little better - !
 
Aww! I remember that! I think John was working on his master's program around that same period. I would put the kids to bed and then chat with everyone while he studied. Those were some WILD Friday nights at our house, lol!
 
I miss the chat room to it whas so much fun to hang around and getting to know more about all the members here !
 
We could probably run one through the store's FB page on a post or do one through Twitter using a special hashtag.
 
I miss adult conversation, however release time is 4pm my time and that's about the time I have to adult to make dinner for the family! :D Any other time of the day, I'd love it.
 
We could use Google Hangouts maybe. I've never done it, but a lot of expats have "connection groups" that use Hangouts.

I miss those days, too, though they were always Saturday morning for me, and I *might* have neglected my kids to chat with my friends...
 
I totally remember! Sometimes I think back and reminisce about those times and hanging with Manda Bean and all the other designers. IT was so much fun!
 
yep! I'd get up super early in Italy sometimes to chat. We had a small core group that was here almost every week adn then tons that would just come occasionally. It was so fun
 
I never did chats here but I would love to, I used to chat a lot at SM years ago before it closed and I don't know how I missed the chats here, because I love chats. :)
 
Sounds like a lot of fun. But I guess it would be in the middle of the night for me.
 
I was a huge lurker at those chats. The conversation would move so fast, I never felt comfortable jumping in. :o
 
I didn't get to participate often because I worked overnights then and was either napping before work or at work, but it was fun the few times I did get to.
