Does Anyone Know Who's Got...

Wendy @ ScrapbookGraphics has one. I haven't tried it myself and I don't know if it works in Elements. Wendy is super helpful though, so I'm sure if you PM her either there or at DST she will answer any questions and help you make it work.

ITA - I don't have Wendy's but it's the only one I've seen. She's helped me before though, great CS, very nice lady!

I believe it's for cutting away the unnecessary transparent pixels around an image so that the file is as small as possible.

i think in PS CS3 this is a built in option.

In my dealings with Wendy she has been very nice. Love her shutterfly actions.

Oh...I always just temporarily add a stroke to a png to see if there are any stray pixels then I erase them. Voila :)

oh i don't think it's for strays . . . it's so that there isn't a bunch of empty space around the image b/c that affects file size . . .

Col, I use it if I have an alpha or some other item that's a png.. when the canvas is bigger than the item. Cuts down on file size.

I'm using PSE 6.0 and actually, Kim Hill just made one up for me!!! :D

Now I'm looking for an alpha saver (like Monica Larsen's), but compatible with my program.
