For a 30 page photo book that they'd be willing to transfer to me? I have 4 and I'm giving them to my sis but she needs 3 more..

If any of you have any you're not going to use, I'd love you forever and would be willing to talk trade :thumbup:
 
So I have no clue about Artscow and went to check out the site, they have a great deal of 1200 free prints if you sign up! What's the scoop, are they any good? Are their prints good quality?
 
Most people seem to like them Pam. I'm pretty much the WORST at getting my stuff uploaded, so I still haven't ordered anything from them yet. Maybe one of these days I'll get my act together, lol.
 
Pam, there has been a lot of discussion about them and other printing co.s on this website and at DST. Artscow isn't fabulous out of this world quality or anything, but they are cheap and of decent quality. Some people really love them, even more than mypictales. Some people have had problems with their orders, white on the edges when they had bleed allowance, rough not-straight cutting, sometimes color issues. Of course, these are just the complaints and there are lots and lots of happy customers too. I haven't ordered from them myself so I can't tell you first hand...
 
I have only ordered prints from them, but I have an order in my cart right now full of lots of their free offers; puzzles, ornaments, prints, photobook and I am also ordering some calendars and dog chains from them. The prints I got weren't as good as Shutterfly, but they were good (especially for the price difference). It was just slightly less high quality paper (thinner) and they put them together slightly wet so they stuck together a bit (but it didn't stick bad enough to remove any parts of the pictures).

I am quite happy with there prints, photobooks, and calendars. If you sign up I suggest you have things ready, a lot of the free credits you get have an expiry date. I got all of my Christmas gifts (photobooks, calendars, keychains, ornaments) free from credits, just had to pay shipping.

their shipping is pretty exorbitant, even coming from hong kong so it makes it up I think. It's STILL cheaper than other places, eve with the crazy shipping
 
They have an offer right now for an 8x8 photo book for $6.99 with free shipping; i wonder if they'd ship to me in malaysia for free. {fingers crossed} I made a little book of our family vacation and bound it with ribbon, which my children promptly untied, pulled apart and pulled the pages off the album. So I"m looking to have another book made. I'd prefer 6x6, but I don't know who offers that size. Anybody know?

I just got some puzzles and a book printed by them. The puzzles look amazing, and so does the book! I literally threw my book together, and I was expecting a little bit of white on the edges because I didn't have time to add the bleed room, but I only got it on the ones I was expecting to get it, and all of my pages are straight. The colors appeared as they did on my screen, and I really couldn't be happier.
 
Kellie, they ship to the Philippines (I received mine) and their office is in HK so Im sure they ship to Malaysia. They dont have 6x6 though.
 
Kellie they ship to El Salvador for the very same $7.99 (Shutterfly charge me $14.99 and MPT almost $30), so I'm sure Malaysia is ok... hehehe

And Tracy I have one 20 pages Photobook that I'm not going to use... Do you still need it?
 
Question for 4x6 prints, do I need to resize them to *4x6* or I just upload them as is (from my cam) and then I choose 4x6 prints and it's going to be OK?
 
Well, I've order the copy of the same picture in 5x7 and 8x10 without downloading more than once and turn out ok.
But you need to upload the picture as you want it.
IE: if you took the picture too far, you won't be able to zoom in and make your personalized crop, or if you upload a square LO it will have white space left and right
