eat like mine does??? Seriously, she's turning 11 months in 2 days, and I can not seem to get her full! She eats like she's twins, lol!

As I type this, she's in her high chair beside me devouring breakfast. I gave her a 6 oz bottle (which she can literally down in about 2 minutes... I really should time her, lol), half a pear chopped up and about a 1/4 cup of dry cheerios.

She's 3/4 of the way through the pears and about 1/2 done the cheerios, and nooooo signs of slowing down. She finishes whats on her tray and then leans way over towards the bowl of pears sitting on my desk.

I never know if she's full or not, lol!

Yep, I had two that ate like that, one still does and he's 13! LOL! She may be going through a growth spurt or just have a high metabolism. Give her some oatmeal, that will fill er up! ;)

My kids ate like fools at that age too!

They actually started eating like crazy again lately too (DS is 3, DD turns 5 next week). Today they each had a bowl of oatmeal, a big slice of banana bread, and an orange (the little Clementines)... that was an hour and a half ago and they're whining that they're hungry again already so NOW they're having some yogurt and another orange. Sheesh!

Then they'll go through periods where they may only eat one or two bites of oatmeal and they're full!

Giving her foods with alot of fiber will help I think. She is probably fixing to go through a growth spurt and so her body is preparing for that by needing extra nutrients. Also is she really active during the day? If so she might be needing those extra calories for all the calories she burns during play

Ahhh, yes...

I think I am going to have to take on a second job just to feed my kids. My older two (ages 10 and 6) will literally have 4...yes 4!...helpings of spaghetti.

What am I going to do when they are teenagers?

ce is older.. but yeh.. he eats like that too lately. Making me crazy, we'll go to the market and like a day or two later 99% of the food is gone .. and in his belly. it's crazy.. he eats like a 15 yr old boy.

LOL, Mason and Natalie are like this - Mason moreso than Natalie at most times. He eats more than we do at supper time, it's kinda crazy. Natalie is like this in the morning, she eats and eats and eats and is ALWAYS complaining about being hungry. But by afternoon/evening she's not hungry anymore and it's a fight to get her to eat supper.

Ummm, I think she's active... she isn't walking yet, but she crawls all over the place and won't sit still. Ever. Even when I put on Baby Einstein and put her in her seat her arms are going and she's kicking and wiggling, lol.

I figure she's growing too... but the scale has stayed the same for like a month at 19 lbs, but she HAS gotten taller. She's outgrowing everything length-wise, and doesn't fit the next size up cause she's so skinny, lol!
