I recycle alot but not everything I can. We will reuse plastic containers that food comes in like butter/margerine containers. We take aluminum to the metal place to sell it.

I recycle MOST things. I SHOULD recycle cardboard stuffz but I almost always forget... but we went from recycling NOTHING, to pretty much everything, plus composting kitchen scraps and whatnot, and using homemade "green" cleaners... so I don't beat myself up too badly about the cardboard. I try my best. :)

We are huge recyclers. We are also lucky that the City of Seattle has bi weekly pick up of all recyclables including yard compost. The only thing that has to be sorted is glass, all paper and plastic go together.

Our city/county is BIGGGG on recycling, so our recycling containers for trash day are HUGE... bigger than the trash cans. And we have a seperate one for yard debris and for glass.... so all together we have to store 4 containers for refuge

I'm out in the county, not the city proper, so we do not have any recycling pick-up. However, we do recycle aluminum cans, cardboard and newspapers at our school.

ETA***We also compost.

They make it nearly impossible to recycle here. There are no recycle bins and if you sort it all out and take it to the dump, you have to pay more and someone said that it all ends up in the landfill anyway.

We recycle bottles/cans, and cardboard we keep and burn in the summer.

We recycle everything that we can. We had to because the town charges us $1.25 per garbage bag (the big black ones), but its free to recycle. It doesn't take long for cardboard to fill up your bag, and even though its not heavy, if its full, its $1.25. Paying like that is ridiculous if we don't have to, so now we are recycle crazy here!

Germany is huge on recycling and they make it pretty easy... paper in one, glass in another and plastic/aluminum in another. The problem is... I barely have room in my house for ONE trash can let alone FOUR!

We used to recycle when the county had a lot of collection points, including one right down the road. Then it dwindled down to 3, none near us but we'd make the run, then to just one and they move it around & we don't actually live in that county so we don't get notices on where it will be when. (our county never recycled).

Now we just compost and we burn things like cardboard & newspaper when we have a bonfire

We recycle everything our county picks up curbside--glass, cardboard, some plastic, cans, & office paper.

i recycle all possible recyclables. and i can throw everything in one bin together so that rocks my face off!!

i'm not allowed to compost in my neighborhood or i would.

we've always recycled beverage containers (plastic, glass and cans) at the redemption center on base. just this last year I started recycling paper/cardboard and even plastic bags. (i found Walmart will recycle plastic bags)

We recycle everything we can!!! We are down to 1-2 bags of trash per week for a family of 3! It really makes me feel good knowing I can do this little thing to help our environment.

Our town STINKS on recycling. There is one or two places that recycle this or that, but no place to take it all. Well except for on base, which is what I do about once a month when I go out to the commissary to do my shopping there. Seriously, now they are charging us $3 more a month if we recycle yard debris and organic goods (paper, clean non dairy/meat kitchen waste) so that they didn't have to raise the price of garbage for everyone else. Oh, and they have TWO days a week they pick up garbage and one for the recycling, can you say STUPID! Sorry I'm from Oregon and it is just foreign to me to not have a basic recycling program in a city of our size here in TX. Ok rant done. Time for medication and bed!

We recycle everything that we can... well, I do. If it were up to Nick, he would just throw everything away. Our gargabe removal service takes them, but I am so hoping we can trust them. I can imagine a paid service, just throwing it in with the trash.... I'm gonna follow them to the dump someday to see what they really do with it! :p
