Do you know what you're doing?

Are there things you do while digiscrapping that you don't know what you're doing but you achieve what you want?

Like I have been able to get my text on a custom path sometimes but I'm not really sure how I do it. I click a few buttons here and there and then somehow I get my text path. it's a mystery (to me).

totally clueless. lmao If it happens once, it will probably never happen again, cause I won't remember what I did. hehehe
So much for being trained in Photoshop too! lol

LOL, I actually do know what you're talking about! I had that same issue with text on a path. Sometimes it'd work and sometimes it wouldn't and I'm still not sure why. Although I do have a lot less problems with it not working so maybe I've finally figured it out.

LMAO - ok this made me laugh! thanks for the giggle! I have to say every time i click random buttons I'm not so lucky as to get what i wanted! one time last week actually, i was working in PS on my new pink lappy and pushed something... no idea what... and my whole monitor display flipped sideways! Scared the crap out of me!....

Haha - Mimi, you're so cute! You crack me up.

That used to happen to me but now I actually know how to do it (or at least THINK I know). If you (or anyone else) want to know how to do it and you're using Photoshop email me (mikkelpaigeoriginals (at) gmail (dot) com) and I'll walk you through it! LOL. Too funny.... :p

Well I don't click buttons... lol! Thats WAY too scary! I really have NO idea how to do anything on PSE... I'm a boring "stick it down & call it good" scrapper.

Heck, I just learned how to use levels to make my photos better, how to convert something *properly* to black & white (what... you mean I don't just hit "remove color"???), and how to make realistic drop shadows. And I've been digi scrapping since 2004. Sigh.

There are features of text on a path where that happens to me. I can get the text on the path just fne, but if want to have it wrap around the inside of the shape or curve to the top or the bottom of a circle there are step you have to follwo to make it happen. I can sit there with the instructions in front of me doing exactly what it says and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and I have no idea why.

Even if I do know what I'm doing, it doesn't come out the way I want!

If only there was a Chud/Madame Mim shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + Magic?), I'd be set!!
