Do you feel confident?

I've been spending the past few weeks painting rooms and bathrooms. I just finished in the nick of time before DSD with the last bathroom. After I was done my husband said, "do you think you can paint my office?" I love him, of course I'm going to paint it--but as his Christmas present. I then joked with him, "why can't you do it?' to which he replied he didn't know or trust himself to paint. This baffled me because I guess I always thought everyone could paint a room.

So my question for you is do you feel confident that you could paint a room a different color, including painting the ceiling. Could you do it? Would you do it or you hire someone to do it for you?

I agree with Dawn. I wouldn't trust my husband to do as good of a job as I do, lol. But, he could do it.

I love painting! Well, maybe I don't love the actual painting, but I love the end result. I've done all different kinds of painting - it's a great way to make a change for not a lot of money... esp. if you do it yourself! My favorite wall in the house is one I stenciled :)

We have never owned a home so I've never painted a room before TBH.

I'm sure I could but my husband would be super OCD abt it & insist that he do it himself b/c he would have 200 different rules for The Way It Must Be Done so I'd step aside and tell him to knock himself out. :D

I have painted almost every room in the house! ;) I like to try new things & get bored easily- so it's a relatively inexpensive change! I did a Chevron wall in my son's room, stripes in my daughter's room, a stencil in our room, just an accent wall in our living room & painted my laundry room bright coral! lol! Our guest room is next but I"m not sure which direction I want to go yet...
