... scrap photo's that you have already scraped several times before?

I have a few of my favourite photo's and I noticed that I have already scrapped some of them like 3 or 4 times.

I reckon Im just going to scrap them until I get it right... or get sick of scrapping it. I think its also a case of finding a kit that works even better for the photo than the one before.

Anyone else do this?
 
YES!
I make and print scrapbooks for my entire family...so if a new kit comes out that suits a picture that I have...I will scrap it again and add it into another book...I have some amazing photos(well, amazing imo) that I have scrapped a few times, I always try and add a different crop to it...but sometimes, I use it as is, straight from my Lightroom folder...

Oh yes, definitely!! I've scrapped several photos a couple of times and I will probably scrap them again, lol!! There are just certain favorites that I have that go so well with so many kits that come out!! :)
 
Definitely - and I love it. Some pictures are just so precious I can't stand to scrap them over and over in different ways. Or a new kit crosses my way which is totally perfect for certain photo so I scrap it even if I did it before. :)
 
yep... sometimes the photo is the 'placeholder' for the overall layout, like i wanted to journal about me and my fiancee.. then i would use our photo, even though it's been scrapped a few times.
 
LOL, I do this - alot has to do with my computer crashing and losing 3 years worth of photos. We haven't done much to get fabulous photos since that happened, so I use my favorites again. :) Hopefully I will get more photos this fall that I love so I can try to move on!
 
Glad I'm not the only one that does this! I haven't been taking a whole lot of pictures lately either so I'm limited. And I've been playing around with manual and most of the time my pictures are not in focus so i'll just keep using the good ones, lol.
 
Yes especially ones that I first digi scrapped that look awful and ones where one of the new kits works perfect for.

I was going to say that too! :) I haven't been scrapping too long and so some of my fist LO's just aren't that great, so I will redo them. And then sometimes a kit will come along that will be much better suited. and then other times a certain pic will be better for one of the challenges so I will use it again so I can make a new LO for the challenge.
 
I do it all the time! Its just that some kits look better with certain pics and then I will scrap that picture again and again.
 
I have several that I have scrapped a few times. There are just certain photos that I love so much I have to keep scrapping.
 
Guess I'm the one lone negative. :blink: LOL No, I don't scrap photos over and over again - I have too many! Right now, the exception to that is some of the digi layouts I've done recently (I've only been doing digi for a little over a month), I had already paper scrapped some of those photos. But those photos I needed to do twice anyway for each boys' book.

I WILL re-do a layout if I don't like it, however.
 
No way, i'm way too cheap! I just can't stand the thought of having it printed twice or having wasted my time with the first page.
 
I do but I always try and do it from another story angle. So while it might be the same photo, the page still give different information.
 
haha Just look thru my gallery you will see the same photo's again. I try not to but sometimes I need to...
 
not on purpose, LOL. I may forget that I've used one before, but I have way too many photos to scrap. If I'm just in the mood to "scrap" and have no new pictures, I'll do a recipe page for my album OR just do a page with no photo and stick it in a folder til I have a photo that will work. Sorta my own QPs, LOL. I have around 30 layouts with no pics in my folder right now.

I've been scrapping for 12 years, I would never get caught up if I tried to go back and redo, besides I love all my pages even the not so great ones.
 
Absolutely! I go back and do pages from when I first started scrapping... because they suck and I never want to print them... lol! Plus sometimes I end up getting a kit that would work so much better with a pic I had previously scrapped. It helps that I only print once a year so I redo it before printing time.
 
I definitely have. But for more of a lack of photos. Before I got my DSLR, my P&S broke and I had no camera for sometime and was limited to photos to use.
 
Not usually, no, unless (a) it's an AAM page so the photo doesn't really matter too much so I use the same couple self-portraits until I get a new one I like just as well or (b) I've done a general overview layout of an event with a bunch of photos and then might pick out one or two of my faves to use either to further explain some particular part of the event or to use down the road if they are good portraits of my friends or family.
