OMG THIS IS WAAAY TOO FUNNY (and true) I have tears of laughing so hard!!!

Well, I've never feel guilty of being bitchy, but dh said that I have to big expectation about others (and by other he means family).

Is like I'm the one who usually spend weeks deciding gifts or hand made them and at the end ppl say... oh cute (next!)
Or organize this BIG party and only half the guest show up (like my son's first birthday when my mom decided not showing up).

So, yes I'm a volunteering door mat, but I take it only when is my initiative. When ppl take advantage of my good heart... BEWARE.. DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER!!!

And I agree, you knows what is best for your kids and they are not paying you for your pictures skills... If they don't like it... well... they have to suck it up and move on!!!

I had a similar thing happen to me this week. We were invited to a housewarming party for a couple we're pretty close with and had planned on going. When we ended up not being able to make it, all I got was, "bummer, we were hoping you'd take pictures." Gee, thanks.

Sorry you're getting the short end of the stick on this. Chin up!
