It's just bots / crawlers / site indexes - every site has them for building search engines. I actually am not sure about the who's online / sidebar widgets in general. Are the new posts and who's online info you guys want to have?

I personally use the Forum>New Posts link when I first show up to see what's new since I was last here.

I love the New Posts thread too - and the new images in the gallery one too I also love! I had to mark all as read first time, but now it shows me everything new in the gallery since the last time too, which I love!!!

I like to see who is online when I am. It's like we are just hanging out albeit virtually!
