I know it has been awhile since they did the conversion but I cannot tell you how much I hate digital tv. I do not understand the need for the conversion. We get worse reception now with digital then we did before everything went digital. (we do not have cable just the local channels).

So true. Mom just got cable a few months ago, and before that, she was lucky to get a handful of local channels clearly.

It really stinks in bad weather if you are trying to watch the weather reports and you can't get digital reception DUE TO THE WEATHER.

We had Dish when they converted and never bought a digital box, but it was horrible until we switched to Cox and got cable in our bedroom. At least before the switch, we could watch the news when we went to bed. But I do know of a lot of people that hate their digital tv.

Umm yes that is the reason here I think. We are soaked here in Central Florida so the digital tv is in and out. It is better on the tv I bought my husband for Christmas but our tv in our bedroom is an older tv and needs a converter box and it just plain sucks. we do not watch enough tv to justify cable though (it is like 100 dollars a month!!)
