Did you see the RadLab sale?

I had the trial for a couple weeks and seriously have not TOUCHED photo editing since it expired I was so depressed. Guess who picked it up on sale >>>>this girl<<<<

I'm so torn about this. I love the editing controls in Aperture, and I've purchased a few Aperture presets that I love too.

I'm a huge RadLab fan too - so much so that I don't think there's anything else I could buy during this sale. :)

I keep waffling on whether or not to get it!!! My brother nearly got it for me a few years ago before I asked him to get me scrap kits instead LOL

So, how often does Totally Rad have a sale? I'm SO tempted to get RadLab... like so so SO tempted. But my computer absolutely sucks right now. It crashes constantly when I'm running Photoshop (which is, ya know, like every day). I HOPE to get a new computer when we sell our rental house in a few months, so I'm wondering if I'd be better off just holding off and grabbing RadLab then when I can install it on a NOT-sucky computer.

Is the 30% off a pretty common sale for them? Or is this like a once a year kind of deal? Anyone know?

I go through a rather cumbersome process with Photoshop to edit every single photo I scrap.... I've often thought I should get some actions to speed things up a bit. Maybe I should try this!

I know their next huge sale (maybe 40-50%?) will be Black Friday.

You use RadLab with Photoshop, not lightroom and it's a plug in that acts sort of like Lightroom. You can download a free trial on their site :)

Absolutely. And RadLab is even better than actions, ever since I got it I use actions very rarely. They have a trial version, so you wouldn't be buying a cat in thr bag. :-)

Actually you can use RadLab in Lightroom - if you go to the FAQ page it lists the host programs and Lightroom is one. That all said - I don't have Lightroom but I know on an old episode of the digi show - they talked about using RadLab in Lightroom. I think maybe Peppermint uses it that way?

Oh my gosh. How do you keep yourself from processing every photo you have?? I've never tried rad lab... until today because of this thread. ...How long is the sale running??

I just downloaded the trial and am playing with it - it is SOOOO easy to use. And the results are pretty awesome (depending on the original photo - some really bad ones can only be helped so far!!). Its tempting.....

I had to do it too. Thanks for posting about the sale! I looked at buying it last October, but was waiting for a sale and hadn't heard about the Black Friday one.
