He's been home late for 90% of the last 3 weeks, so the kids are really missing him at bedtime (and I'm a little tired of the whole bedtime routine).

I do bedtime even when my DH is here!!!!!! He does eventually make it up to say g'nite but they sit up there and chat until he does-drives me nuts!!!!

I don't even bother lying anymore...and if I want DH to look after the kids I just shut the door to my office, lol (my kids are still little, and I have those child locks on my door, so they can't get in). LOL!

my hubby does the little one's bedtime every night it's his fave part of the day. Otherwise we're almost always in the same big room anyways, me on the puter, him on the PS2 til 8, and the kids playing til then as well..then i get tv and he does bedtime. Works for us

I like that routine very much....I am really jealous!!! I don't get TV until at least 9. Sometimes earlier if the twins are in the man cave with Dad!!!!

we take turns... i need my computer time as much as i can get.

we are the same though... me on the laptop and hubby on the desktop OR his PSP. i wonder if the laptop drives him as crazy as the PSP drives me. ;-)

My husband is really good - we both get the kids ready for bed and clean up and have Bible story and prayer with the kids. However, once he gives hugs and kisses he's out the door - I'm always the one that gets stuck with all the last requests like water, one more hug, etc...

DH does bedtime when he is home ... or at least we do it together -- but he let's me sit it out here and there.

We do the bedtime routine together: PJs, teeth, read a few books, and then bed. Once the boys are in bed, he does drinks and I get snuggle time with each boy. He does the teeth most nights, though! I know how you feel. When DH gets home from a trip, getting ready for bed is all him!
