Welcome to the December Monthly Magic challenge hosted by Studio Flergs and Amber Shaw!

This time of year makes me be very reflective and grateful. I'm constantly reminding myself how fortunate I am. Even when things seem bad, I have to stop myself and find the positive. I hope this season you will also take a moment to be thankful. I know it is crazy busy time, but it only takes a second. Take a breath from the chaos and be grateful you have the craziness.

So I am stopping right now to say how thankful I am for Megs and Amber. Not only are these ladies amazing designers, they are beautiful women. I am grateful to be able to create amazing scrapbook pages from their designs, but more importantly I am thankful for their friendship.

In honor of these two awesome ladies, I thought it would be fun to scraplift and smash together a page from both their personal galleries. This means I want you to create a page taking inspiration from both Megs page and Amber's. Here are the two pages to smash together:

From Megs:

Amber's page:

Aren't they both lovely pages!

Here is the scoop:

1) For this challenge, your page needs take inspiration from both Meg's page and Amber's. Also make sure to tell me how their pages inspirationed you.

2) Your page must be made with 100% Studio Flergs or Amber Shaw Designs products or #believeinmagic collections. Templates from another designer are acceptable.

3) Please post your layout in
Studio Flergs
gallery or
Amber Shaw Designs
gallery whichever applies.

4) You have until 11:59 pm PST time on January 3rd to complete your page and post it here (with it linked to your gallery). All who complete a page will receive as participation prize made for you by our talented Ms. Shaw.

5) One random winner will receive a kit of their choice from Amber or Megs store (#believeinmagic included).

I can't wait to see how you are inspired by these instructions. Now off you go... and take a moment each day to be thankful. Have fun!!!

Melinda

I took the overall design from Amber's page and the use of natural elements and papers from Flergs' page.

Here's mine.
I was inspired by the outdoors theme and multiple photos in Flergs' layout.
And I love scatters, but I hardly ever use them on my own layouts. So that was my inspiration in Ambers' layout.

Mine, I was inspired by the clustering, arrows and WA in the first and the big photo and clustering of the second one. Thanks for hosting Melinda, great PP!!

Will upload to the galleries next weekend when the template is released

I used Home for the Holidays by Amber Shaw
My paper strips behind my photo were inspired by the layout from Studio Flergs. And my flower clusters and large photo were inspired by the layout from Amber Shaw.

Here is my page. I was inspired by the clustering and word strip journaling in Megs' layout, the use of b&w photo and repeated shapes on the background in Amber's layout.

I was inspired by the brown/wood tones and the pine greenery in the first layout. I was inspired by the clusters in the second one. Thanks for the challenge and beautiful alpha!

I was inspired by the kit on Amber's page and the journaling strips and circular elements on Flerg's page.

Fun challenge-thanks for the inspiration! Here's mine.

From Megs I took the angled, stacked paper strips and the strip of ric rac. From Amber I took the single black and white photo and the strips of lace. From both layouts I used a card and floral clusters.

Thanks guys for playing! I've passed out the PP and also used the random number generator for the winner.

Congrats to kc33558. I've sent you a PM.

Thank you again for playing along with the Monthly Magic Challenge. I look forward to seeing what Amber and Megs have up their sleeves for 2017.
