December Daily ...

I'm doing it! I already made my cover page and I just need to put this year's photos in it at the end. I have scrapping supplies organized. I feel prepared for once. I hope there is a thread because I love seeing everyone's pages!
 
I may take my pictures and do my journaling and then put them into one of Cindy's album templates… Then will all the NR are coming out next year, I can just open up my templates with journaling and finish the pages? That's the idea in theory anyway. lol.
 
Okay I never realised that this project is only about the first 25 days of December. What about the rest? If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna go all the way until the new year :P

People do it both ways. Just like some start the day after Thanksgiving and others start Dec 1st.
 
I'm still not decided if I'm going to do it or not, arghhh! It's gonna be kinda hard with the kiddos being at their dads sometimes. Hmmm... running out of time to make my mind up here!
 
I'm doing it this year! I'm making 8x6 digi pages then having them printed in a book at the end of the holidays. Mine is a Holiday Memories album, so it's not every day but it's all the holiday stuff we do in November and December. I'm excited!
 
I can't decide if I should try it this year, or just spend the time finishing up last years project! If I do, I won't do a daily thing because our schedules just don't allow for daily fun. ;) I liked doing faves last year, though!
 
to be honest, I'm not exactly sure I remember what/how DD is done! so i'll have to refresh my moth eaten memory before I decide... either way, I would like to do something, if nothing else than to just act as a prelim warm up to jumping back into Project Life in 2015!

I've been pondering this for awhile. I think I want to do something kind-of like a December Daily, but different.

I have a skiing album that I put pages of all our ski vacations when we travel to different destinations. It is so much fun since we can look at all our variations on ski vacations over the years. It has where we went, the people that came with us, our favorite runs, restaurants etc... It is really fun to pull out, especially when we are getting ready for the next vacation.

I'm thinking to do something like that for Christmas. I can't imagine having a special book for every December, I would get overrun by little books. Instead I'm thinking of ONE book I will call "Christmas Memories" that I'll add to every year. I'll capture some of the highlights of each holiday season, like the shows or plays we went to see, ginger bread houses we made that year, special decorations we purchased or received. Plus document the basics of what we do every year like the tree. But I don't need to make a tree page every year, unless something is different about it, like we got a new special ornament or tree topper.

I have not made a special Christmas album before, but I have been scrapping for a number of years now....I'm thinking that I might just make the start of this album the day my son was born. I can print some of the older pages I've made for his books as a starting point and then add to it every year.

Now that feels good to me! :D
 
I'm doing holiday faves- instead of a daily thing, just doing our favorite memories for the season- probably 10-12 pages I think.

When Lynette was still designing here at SSD, she released a Holiday Faves template set that became quite popular. Even if people didn't get the template set, they'd spin off the ida of only scrapping their favorite moments of this season to keep things from getting out of hand by having to do something daily.
 
I do love my December Daily projects. Have 3 books from the last 3 years finished. But because I decided to do this year's project all digitally again, I have the time for it. And I have way too many pretty Christmas kits that all scream "Take me! Take me for your DD project!" I decided to do a Document Christmas project this year. In it I want to document all activities that are Christmas related and of course, the whole of December. But because I started decorating my house before Thanksgiving, I began the album last week already.
 
I had talked myself out of it yesterday, then on the way to work talked myself back in :-) I've only completed one but it's my families favorite album so I want to make it a priority again! Just bout a couple of kits and Cindys 25 page album!

I took a couple pics already today and I have some fun stuff planned for the month so I hope I can finish a project
 
Even though I haven't finished the last two years - I'm still going to be doing it this year... :w00t: Not sure if it will be favs or just day to day stuff...
