I collect build-a-bears but have not bought a new one in like a year or so at least. Ive seen a few I want but havent had the cash to spend. I got an email today and I just do not think I can resist this bear. It is so darn cute!! I do have 20 dollars in gift certificates to spend at the store so I might just have to go get this bear LOL

we love BAB! wish we could do it more, just too $$ when you take 3 kids in and they all want outfits, etc. kwim?
 
Yes I do!! When I go with my daughter we end up spending about 60-80 dollars!! Do not ask me how many bears I have though LOL. After nearly 4 years lets just say Ive spent ALOT there!! But I usually get one for mother's day, my birthday, christmas and valentines day and Ive bought a few on ebay when I find one I do not have that is really cheap (like a five dollars or less)

I am a HUGE Build-a-Bear fan though. I started collecting them in '99 just before JP was born. This is most of my current collection:

There are two reindeer in the picture...one's just hiding behind the other. There are two dinosaurs missing as well as an elephant and the first BAB I bought...the original black bear. The black bear in the picture is the second version, lighter muzzle/paws. LOL!!
 
I love them too. Sean yells at me. LOL!

Keira has a Bunny for her first Easter, a Regular Bear for her first birthday, a Pink Bear, Turtle, and a Panda Bear.

Cooper has a Chick for his first Easter and a Puppy. LOL!

Have you seen the Halloween costumes they have for the animals? We had some coupons and got Keira a kitty costume for hers.

Ditto. Sadly, I suspect me buying that for one of my HM-obsessed nieces is going to be in my near future.

It's pretty cute (if I overlook the HM branding) but, myself, there's a ton of B-A-Bs I think are much cuter.

I get lots of coupons for all the money I spend there. I give a lot of B-A-B gifts to the nieces and nephews, then we make a special day of going there to have their animal made &/or accessory shop.
 
I think at last count I had 34. I will have to get them out as they are packed up until I can find somewhere to put them without them getting all dusty. Ill post a picture on here
 
I too am not a HM fan.

I LOVE BAB though. It's just way too expensive for me. Garret was quite upset with me when I got one for each of the boys. It's so expensive. But now Stella has to have one....so I will at least be buying one more! lol!
 
They are quite expensive. Honestly the reason why I have not bought any is because of digi-scrapping. I am really lucky as my husband never says anything about how much I spend on my hobbies(I have collected special edition cabbage patch kids, snowglobes from the disney store and build-a-bears. When I showed him this one he told me well I guess we will need to go to BAB this weekend? :wub:

I just took my girls out last weekend to get the Halloween Kitty. my youngest collects all the kitties and the other collects the WWF animals. Sign up for the Stuff for Stuff membership and register online for the entire family's birthdays! It ensures constant discounts.

My girls LOVE playing online at BABville.com also. Every purchase you make at the store translates into BAB dollars that their virtual character can spend in the virtual store. They can register their animal friends too and run around playing games. I just make sure to turn off the chat function so they cannot interact with other players online. ;)
