It's kind of like using levels, or the lightness feature in hue/saturation. I just know that when I move the curve down, it gets lighter, and when I move it up it gets darker, lol.
Same place as the hue/saturation and levels. It's right under levels I think. The circle that's half filled at hte bottom of the layers palette.
Basically a box pops up and it's got a diagonal line running through it. You click at a point on the line and can drag it around the box, changing the effects. I THINK you can change the levels for different types of light (like highlights, midtones, shadows) but I could also be totally making that up. And for THAT I will wait for Mandy
For some reason, I thought this was going to be about the women's only work out place.
However, for curves in PS I do the play around until it looks better (I'm not sure if I ever got to the point of looking good). Usually my curves end up in some sort of S shape.
That's what I've always done but I kind of want to know the "technique" if there is any. And by the way, when I titled this post I almost said "Curves- and not the workout play:!
