Current Trends? Need Your Advice!

So, I'm using one of those "Currently" type cards for my PL spread, and in addition to filling in blanks like "Popular Songs, In the News," etc, there's a blank for "Current Trends." That's such a broad category that I'm really having trouble coming up with anything.

Any thoughts for what I should include in that spot? TIA!

you could include like a current trendy color or pattern. like something you keep seeing in scrapkits or if you go to the mall what color are lots of the windows decorated with? I think of things like Mint, and neons still seem to be a hit. Nautical themes and prints I am seeing everywhere right now. Polka dots! The newest filofax I have my eye on is polka dotted and has some bright neon type colors! Things like that maybe?

You could also do the kids current trends. What clothing styles are they into right now? Any specific teen-isms they use when they speak etc.
