CT Call Probs

Whenever I apply for a CT call, there's always this completely irrational, panicky voice in my head that thinks, "What if there was a glitch, and my application didn't go through?!" Even though I know the chances of that happening are slim to none, I can't help being paranoid. Please tell me I'm not the only overthinking, delusional weirdo out there! :p
 
I am exactly the same like you kendall , I am always worries they don't get them .so totally not weird . But at the moment i don't apply anymore or it much be one of my dream ct's lol
 
My acceptance email from Traci Reed went to my spam box and I had no idea I got in, lol! I don't remember how I caught it. So right now I'm checking all my boxes, just to be safe ;)
 
I didn't follow up. I never even thought about it! I got that confirmation message so I didn't consider freaking out TILL NOW. Thanks a lot!
 
YEAH, thanks ALOT! LOL Who did you send your email to...I should do the same...egadz... :p:cursing:

I have gone as far as checking the staff photos to see if maybe they snuck in our photos since the questionnaire and photo was part of the app process...ya never know right?
 
I think it's normal to feel this way when applying for a dream team. I keep wondering if they will send out an email letting us know we did or did not get in or if we will just find out in the newsletter/blog. This week seems to be going extremely slow lol.

LOL. Checked staff page too! I'm not good at waiting but the paranoia of my email not going through has not been a problem. Overthinking favorite layouts and responses to questions, yup, do that. Hey, being really excited/concerned just shows how important it is to you (us), right? You (we) take these things seriously!
 
I always think that it didn't go through. Then, when I get that anxiety out of my head, I worry that I didn't get the email from them saying yes or no. And I worry about that until I finally get the email, or I see the list online. This might be one of the reasons I don't apply to many calls. Only the dream teams are worth the anxiety. ;)
 
Just wanted to let you girls know that we did get all of the applications. It's a 3rd party site that I have access to and everyone is recorded there so email is taken out of the equation. If you got the confirmation screen, you should be good to go!

That said.... soooo many amazing scrappers applied. Over 60 made the deadline, so we have our work cut out for us and it may still be a few more days before we make any announcements!

Thank you sooooo much for applying to be on the Babe team - this year's apps are seriously incredible!

:o I've been there before!!! LOL For both a Babe and a Designer application, so I'm allowed to tease. ;) :wub: I know you all are probably going insane from waiting! Hang in there.
 
Even though we haven't made any decisions yet, I wanted to share that when I first applied to be a Babe, I didn't get chosen. So, I know how that stings.

Don't give up though! It was because of that Babe app that Robin invited me to be on her personal CT. Then a few months later, a Babe spot opened, and I was invited. Soon after that I started designing.

So, no matter what may come of this, please don't read anything into whether or not you get chosen. We can't possibly take on 60 new Babes, so we have to make some really tough decisions. You all rock!!!
 
Wow...60, huh.....not surprising but sure is nerve wracking knowing there is soooo much competition. I can't even imagine how hard it must be to decide b/c everyone is really talented.
