CSI people--Catch Me Up

Sara & Grissom I need to hear the story. I stopped watching like when max was born, and I caught an episode today where he said they had been involved for nine years, but I know she left and then later he left too, so some body give me the cliff notes version. What's the scoop on these two?

I think they were together for ages, but noone really new. Then some crazy serial killer lady found out (she could tell by looking at them) I think, and she kidnapped Sara and tried to kill her to hurt Grissom. She survived, but after that she decided to quit CSI and leave Las Vegas, and I think they broke up. But then Grissom decided to leave to, and he went to find her deep in a jungle somewhere and then they kissed, and presumably lived happily ever after. I read somewhere that Sara will be back for the new season though, so I don't know what that means for their realtionship (don't think Grissom is back)
