Is there a way to separate my photo actions from my other actions.. (ie make a separate list?) Thanks!!

Well in CS2 you can separate them...you can't make a different palette or anything, but you could create a "folder" and then organize them within that.

Here's how to do it in CS2...in your actions palette, you'll see a little arrow in the top left corner, click on that and choose "new set" and then name it. Then you can just drag/drop your existing actions into that set. HTH!

Bree.. thank you for the help. I made the folder but the actions don't seem to go 'into' the folder.. does that make sense. Instead the actions are sitting below the new folder

Some actions may already be in a "set" of their own, so you may have to actually drag the action inside that set into the new set. Does that make sense?

So say you have a new set called "photo actions" and then you've got some actions below it in sets called "soft" and "cool" (or whatever, lol), the actions underneath the "soft" and "cool" will have to be dragged to the photo action, not the "soft" or "cool" folders. KWIM?

Not sure if that's the trouble that your having, it's just a thought... :)
