Credit Cards are Down

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you know that our credit card processing is down currently, but we're working on it. It seems they upgraded / migrated us to a new and improved processing platform (that was supposed to be seamless) and it broke.

We are working on it. If you need to pay using a credit card, you can choose paypal and select the pay with debit or credit card button as shown below to enter your card info without logging into a paypal account...

So sorry for the inconvenience. I'll update here when we are back up and running!

Hey Robin. Has this been fixed? I am trying to purchase templates and it is requiring the minimum $5 so I was going to pay with a cc, but can't seem to do so. Thanks in advance for the update.

I think the credit card processing is fixed and working now. However, I think, unfortunately, the $5 minimum purchase also applies to the credit card payment. I might be wrong, though. Let's wait for Robin's reply.

Hey Heidi,

Credit card processing should be working as intended. However, we do have a minimum purchase in the shoppe of $5 that we added earlier this year. Paypal and credit card fees have gotten so high since Summer of 2022 that the shoppe itself was losing money on very small transactions.

We discussed it as a team and our options were to either raise prices so that nothing in the shoppe was less than $5 (ie. no more template singles, etc) or add the order minimum but leave prices the same and we opted for the order minimum. I know it may seem trivial, but over hundreds of transactions it was really adding up and that wasn't sustainable as a small business so we had to make a decision.

We appreciate our customers so much, so we truly hope you guys can understand our decision and will continue to support the designers and I <3
