Crafty or clever wedding gift ideas?

Ok, so I need some help! I will be going to a wedding for a co-worker later this month, and I need to come up with something awesome, but low budget, as a gift. I already contributed to the joint work gift fund (before I got the invitation), and I have only been on the job for about a year... Anyway, I am SURE there is something out there that I could make or do without significant cost. A hybrid album (for her to complete later)? A printer tray or frame? Something else? Something that was the COOLEST gift to receive? Or something you LOVE to give? Lay it on me!

How about monogrammed cards? Do a super cool digi design and then have them printed. When I first got married I was nuts for things monogrammed - not sure why, my maiden name starts with the same letter as my married one... haha.
 
Create an image like this on an 8x10 layout and matte/frame it. I make them for people and put them onto canvas, but framing would be even easier. If you konw their wedding colors, use them for the names!
