Crafters Help Me Out

I'm making large cardboard clouds for a set. I need to glue cotton to painted cardboard. I have Modge Podge on hand. Do you think that will work to adhere the cotton to the painted cardboard? It doesn't need to be forever, but they will be hanging over people's heads for 3-4 days and I don't wont it to be raining cottonballs.

If not Modge Podge, what would you recommend?

TIA - I'm not sure what crazy person entrusted me with this job.

What about spray adhesive like the 3M Spray mount stuff?

I'd use either a glue gun or good ol' elmers glue... we used the white glue for kiddo's cotton ball art work last year for homeschool and they are still hanging up...

I'd go with spray adhesive too. I'm too lazy to glue a bunch of cotton balls by hand.

glue gun...I am all about the hot glue and it's cheap!!!!

I would do white glue too, but I'm pretty sure mod podge would also work! Its just watered down white glue anyway...

I follow the golden rule, "there is nothing that cannot be accomplished with a glue gun."

I would probably use a liquid glue or hot glue of some kind. Spray adhesive works better for flat objects and it doesn't always have a lasting hold in my experience.

I would say hot glue or Elmer's white glue as well.
