Craft ideas for a birthday party?

Amelia's having a skating party next week for her 6th birthday. They have 1 hour on ice skating, and 1 hour off ice. I'm going to do just usual pizza, because I'm lazy for food.

The theme is Minnie Mouse, and this is the theme of her party gear:

She has said she doesn't want to play a game, and frankly there's not really enough time anyway, but she wants to do a craft with her friends.

Anyone have any ideas that will work for boys and girls, and isn't too time consuming....but also something that is decent?

What about decorating tshirts with a Disney theme? Print off transparencies that iron onto the shirts and then get fabric crayons or paints and let them color them!

what about getting some beads in those colors (as well as some more boyish colored beads but still kinda disneyish/mickey mouse) and some letter beads along with some lanyards that they can make a necklace or bracelet with? Its a quick craft and not to girly that the boys wouldnt enjoy it especially at that age. Im thinking like pony beads would be good

so for the minnie theme you could do pink/yellow/black and for mickey you could do red/yellow/black

For my DD's 6th birthday we painted ceramic animals (I just got them at walmart in the craft section) and made homemade play doh (from a recipe I found online). The kids loved it and had a ball!!!!

Here is the recipe I found (no cooking is why I liked it!!) and I made a little card to send home with them do the moms and dads would know what was in it and if they wanted to make it again!!!

I was thinking altered mailboxes...at Target right now...acck! did *I* say altered?! lol Kids could use them for siblings to put messages to them in their rooms...or for valentine mailboxes at school. Could be papered, stickered, glittered or whatever you want to mess with.

Thanks guys...Sharon, I live in Canada, so no Target.

It's such a short time, like less than 1 hour, so I need a speedy craft LOL! I really want to do the door hangers, but I can only get those at Michael's and the nearest one is 3 hours away. I wish she'd just play a game or something LOL

Do you have any other craft store (wal-mart?) around...you can cut out your own door hangers...it's super simple...you just need sheets of craft foam...it cuts easily with scissors.
