Cr@p! NOW what do I do?

I am very careful with my files and back up like crazy, but I just realized one of my layouts is just GONE! I have all my other layouts, but this one isn't where it should be (or anywhere else, as far as I can tell). I know I did the layout, b/c here it is in my photobucket account:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK. I don't want to have to make this layout again. It took forever!

Oh wow, that's so weird. I have no advice I don't guess...just maybe look in weird places in your computer? So sorry.

I am searching my whole computer now. It hasn't turned up in more focused searches, but maybe . . .

if you know when you did it and can narrow it down to a specific time frame you can do a search for files created in that time period

I saved the web version in place of the full version of one of mine. Now I gotta either redo it or just make a new one, I guess.

At least you have the small version to go off of when you remake it so it won't take so long!

I agree, at least with all the hard work of designing the LO done it'll go faster a second time. I have a few I need to redo, I just haven't had the time or motivation.

I had the same thing happen to me, except I know where mine went. It must not have been recovered when my hard drive crashed. It was sad, cause it had TONS of journaling that will be so hard to replicate! I realized it was missing when I went to submit it for publication. At least I have a thumbnail to go off of too!
