Some of you might remember my thread about being grounded by DH (he took my credit card) so I can't shop for a while.

First of all I want to thank Heather Roselli who RAKed me with her Tiki Tiki Boom Boom kit. That was unnecessary but was pretty sweet of her. I promise the minute I'll have my card back I'll buy all your new kits... :thumbup:

Well, but the reason of my thread was not only that. I've been wanting to go to the Craft and Hobbies Association Trade Show (CHA) for very long. This summer is in Chicago and I was pushing dh's buttons to go (remember, I live in El Salvador). Even when a friend of mine got me the pass dh told me that after my "shopping spree" these last months I don't deserve a trip.

Well, a couple of days ago we had this conversation
DH: Do you really have your pass to CHA?
ME: Yes, Jen put me in the list and they already sent me the badge by e-mail
DH: Did you find a room-mate?
ME: No, you told me you rather like to invest that money in a business trip
DH: Hmmm, how much are the rates?
ME: (with a bit of hope) the cheaper is $124 per nigh plus taxes. Shutte included
DH: Hmmm ok, book the hotel,(giving me an envelope) here you have your tickets
ME: Wooohooo... I love you so much... John Mayer will be in town, Can I go to the concert too??
DH: will see...

Woopeee, I'm very excited! Three days of 100% me time, meed some digi friends and loads of fun!!! I still don't have my credit card back (he said I need to save my credit for the trip... LOL) But this totally worth my digi starvation!!!
 
That's just awesome sweetie! I wish I still lived in Ohio because I'd only be like 5 hours from Chicago and I'd have to meet you somewhere (although I'm not going to CHA!) I can't believe my bestest friend from El Salvador will be this close and I can't see yoU!

I hope you get to see John Mayer and keep working on your DH! ;)

OMG!!! I'm thrilled for you!! I so wanted to go to CHA this year, but I just couldn't swing it. :(

I have gone to the winter show in Anaheim and it's a blast!!!!
 
What an awesome hubby you have there, Oriana! Congratulations and most of al have loads of fun and enjoy your "me" time!
 
OMG Ori!!!!! :) I'm so excited for you!!! How awesome of your hubby! I'm sure you are going to have a BLAST. I have never been but hope to one day!
