I feel like I have used up more than my fair share of these posts.. but...

My mom is in the hospital and has been since yesterday. Her hemoglobin and her red blood cell counts are very low, as is her potassium. Her pcp took her off her lasix and she gained 15 lbs of fluid in 5 days. She was having trouble breathing and ended up in the er yesterday morning and was admitted. She's having a blood transfusion now to get her counts back up and I don't know when they will send her home but she will be off work at least a week if not more. I'm really stressed out as I don't know what I would do without my mom but she is also the primary care giver for my kids while I am working so I'm scrambling to figure all that out too.. but really.. I just want her to be better.

Any thoughts and prayers you have would be hugely appreciated.

She got discharged yesterday and is home resting now. They did a blood transfusion and changed around some of her medications and sent her home. She's lost 5 lbs of the fluid but her legs are still pretty swollen, so she's off work at least the rest of this week.
