....to tell me that Jumper was such a bad movie before we wasted our precious evening watching it?!

Ee-gads, Hayden can't act, the movie premise was ruined by huge holes (yeah..sci-fi, but still) and there was completely no closure. I'm not fond of anti-hero movies, anyway, but sheesh, this one was just bad.

I need a new GOOD movie to watch, to wash my brain out :)
 
I havent seen it yet, but thanks because now I wont bother.
Its so disapointing seeing a bad movie isnt it? Especially when you do watch movies very often.
 
Awww I'm sorry you wasted your time watching that movie Darcy but think of it in a good way you saved me and a bunch of other people from watching it too :)

LOL! I couldn't even watch all of it....

there haven't been too many fabulous movies lately though! it's been a while since I watched one. :(
 
ok, so here's the thing about Jumper. It had the POTENTIAL to be a really great movie! Hayden is soooo hot and he can actually act and the storyline/plot was interesting. But then, all of a sudden in the middle of the movie, its like all the writers and directors, etc all just took a long lunch break and never came back to finish the movie! Ya know? We saw it in the theater and were pretty disappointed too. Sorry you wasted your night. :(
 
I thought it was an ok movie. I would not have wanted to spend all the money to see it in the theater but for tv it was ok for an evening at home
 
hey we LIKED Jumper...we're never concerned with bad acting though. We watch movies to veg, not analyze..hahahaha
 
We saw it, I can't remember if we liked it or not though. LOL We saw the new X Files movie last night and it wasn't very good. I was so bummed. :(
 
Sorry Darcy. I don't even know what Jumper is I'm so out of the loop.

Another really bad one to stay away from that my boys wanted to see over April vacation was The Superhero Movie. BADDDDD! Even they hated it!
 
I kinda liked it - its another movie biased on a graphic novel - they never translate to movies -
We are movie freaks - we always hit the new releases - we went Friday to Mummy 3 but you know other than batman there are no really good movies out there - we also went to mama mia - I loved it - but man it was such bad acting and singing - wow - but in a way that only made it better - I laughed my butt off
 
I actually really liked Jumper! heheh But I like the whole super human power stuff and that was what I was interested in. :)
 
Doesn't sound like a movie I'd be interested in at all... However I will be spending the evening tonight watching The Bucket List and 27 Dresses. :)
 
I haven't seen it but DH has, he liked it. Mind you, he likes a lot of crap, lmao... :blink:

But...I do like Hayden Christensen. Have you seen "Awake"? We went and saw it in the theater...I liked it, DH didn't like the ending.
 
Awww Darcy Im sorry sweety, what a let down. My husband wants to see this one SO freakin bad!! I am sure I will end up having to watch it anyway! I felt the same way with the Mist! I will NEVER watch that again, I actually threw the dvd away LOL and I am a total packrat so thats huge for me!
