if you use them which ones are your MUST haves? I want to get some, but not sure where to start and the site I am getting them from only comes in individuals not sets....so help me out :)

i love mine. so expensive, but so worth the investment if you're an artist/crafter.

http://www.copicmarkers.com/ will let you create your own custom set. and their prices aren't terrible, either.

i bought mine all individually over a period of time (and i don't have a ton- i may use some tax money next year to invest in more for school), but that site is where i'd suggest doing it if you want a customized set. (:

also- http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com/ << great blog for techniques and copic information and all that fun stuff.

What will you be colouring? Mainly flowers? Mainly people etc.? I mainly colour people rubber stamps with mine so my essentials are skin and hair colours together with some clothes colours

I want to be like you Andrea :) I want to get some of those cute little kid stamps and stamp away and color :)

Angie I'm out all night shopping for the furniture for my new craft room from IKEA but later on tonight (or it might be tomorrow) I'll do a little list of the colours I use for my faces etc. It's also worth checking out some blogs etc. Check out my friend Nicole as she often says what colours she used

ok thanks :) I also think you should share a picture of your stamp collection :) have fun shopping :)

No way! I think I may possibly shock myself never mind everyone else if I put them all together :p

For faces and skin I use E000, E00 and E21 and add E11 for the cheeks. I add the little freckles with a white Inksentials pen - I think it's made by Ranger

If you are going to colour people stamps then the most important shades will be your skin colours. Nicole has a list of her favourite colours here, you can translate her blog into English

Andrea other than the skin colors if you had to pick 1 or 2 of each color do you have favorites? Nicoles list is a little too big for me :)

Copic's are buy 3 get 1 free @ A Cherry On Top today (not sure how long the sale will be) :)

Well, I tend to make most of my peoplé have brown hair so I use E57, E37, E35 the most

For jeans and denim I use B93, B95 and B97

My favourite red colour for doing raincoats, shirts etc. R22, R24, R27, R29

I started off by buying the Copic Ciaos as they were cheaper over here in the UK and I bought the 2 big boxes of them. After that I have bought pens every month from the the Sketch range to fill in the spaces and now have them all. I used to be a Promarker girl but I am so glad that I changed over to the COpics as I really love them. When you buy them always buy a darker or a lighter colour to go with the one that you buy so that you can shade but you can make a darker shade of one colour by laying down a second or third layer of colour to make it darker

Angie...I have a boxed set of 12 copic ciao markers that have hardly been used that I am looking to sell if you are interested. They are the basic bold rainbow colors, plus black and brown. I can give you specific color listings if you want. Just PM me and let me know if you are interested!
