Cookies?

I know it's sad, it's how I got super involved here too and how I got onto Traci's team 3 years ago... they definitely will be missed :crying:

Ooohh.... I remember that cut throat competition... I mean, friendly opportunity on who could create more pages using Traci's products and the C4Kids templates for a spot on Traci's CT... :D *sigh* good times...

Speaking of Toys for Tots... Here's an easy way to donate $1 to Toys for Tots without really doing anything - Kohl's (department store) will donate $1 to TFT for every new "like" on their FB page before December 24.

We are definitely spoiled rotten here at SSD

I didn't mean to stir up trouble :o, I was looking for the cookies yesterday and didn't have a clue that they weren't being done this year. I can totally understand the reasoning behind the decision.

I don't do Toys for Tots or the Angel Tree or any of those, but instead we "adopt" a family anonymously in our town (the school guidance counselor sets it up for us) and we buy them things they need (coats, boots, mittens, hats) and each child gets a toy and a book for under the tree. We also buy them all they need for a big Christmas meal and some other essentials like milk, bread, cereal, etc. I set up a Christmas Club account at my bank each January and $10 automatically comes out of my paycheck each week and goes in there. It's become a tradition for the past 8 years and Cheyanne loves to shop for our family and wrap their gifts. I do it every year to remember that no matter what has happened in my life, I am still in a better place than many others.
