Confession 2.0 (things that 'everyone' likes but you don't)

LOL, this thread seems like we're a bunch of haters.
BTW, I didn't really realize "ellies", "kiddos", etc could sound annoying...
As a non-native English speaker those sound somehow cute to me, didn't really think they're so childish so thanks for pointing that out :)

I love Adele as a person, she's hilarious, but I don't like her music at all.
Don't like coffee either. And I'm also not a big fan of The Walking Dead. Or Sherlock, which is a really big hype in my environment as well.

I'm sure they're fine to a lot of people - they just grate on me ;) And I'm probably in the minority when it comes to that! :D

OMG - thank you!!! I thought I was the only person in the world who is not impressed with Adele's music! The song Hello makes me want to drive my car off the road if it comes on the radio :D

I don't like Beer, can't stand the smell of it. I'm not a big drinker in general, but I have been drinking more wine, I just have to find the right kind.

Super expensive purses, like more than $50, I'm not touching it.

Underarmor clothes for kids that will outgrow it in a few months. Any fancy clothing brand for kids really, I'm not willing to spend more on my kids clothes than I do on mine.

I haven't gotten into the "it" books since stupid Twilight, so I haven't read/watch the Hunger Games or Divergent.

Beyonce. I don't get, I did like Destiny's Child though.

I don't care for the sun/beaches/heat all that much either. Which is weird since I'm from Florida, but now that I'm older and the red hair, it's just too much hassle. LOL!

I know a lot of people love him, Benedict Cumberbatch, not attractive, Kylo Ren in Star Wars, why people liked/found him attractive, I don't get.

I'm sure there are a ton more, but those are some biggies.

Good grief! I got busy and this thread went crazy w/o me.

Buffalo wings... pretty much any meat that I have to pick the meat off the bones like a caveman. Wild Buffalo Wings is my hubby's favorite restaurant... I haven't found anything on that menu that I like.

EW! me too! I will only eat boneless wings. Watching people eat wings is gross too.

Off the top of my head:

Coffee is disgusting.
Any meat is disgusting.
I've never liked wine either - I've tried but outside of Boones Farm Tickle Pink or Strawberry Hill I've never acquired a taste  (I love beer, however).

Now see, I love wine but can't stand beer. I've tried many times, but it's just too bitter or something. I don't like it. Which is too bad because it's much cheaper than cocktails! lol!

I hated sushi for a long time but recently discovered that you can ask them to replace the seaweed paper with soy paper so that it doesn't have that extreme fishy taste. With that change, I now LOVE it -- especially shrimp tempura rolls (i.e., no raw fish). Yum. So, if it's the fishy taste you hate, give it a try with soy paper.

I almost asked for that last week but then changed my mind at the last minute because I started over-thinking things. Maybe I'll give it one more shot. It's a texture thing FOR SURE.

I will also add "the walking dead" While I have never watched an entire episode of the show from the bits and pieces.. I just do not get the hype haha.

I was a big Walking Dead fan the first couple seasons, then it got really over-hyped and weird, IMO. I stopped watching a couple seasons ago because I decided it wasn't the most peaceful pre-bed viewing material. So now Eden and I crawl in bed and read while John and the boys watch.

Ha! So many things: coffee/Starbucks, avocados, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, 'The Walking Dead,' vampires, zombies, 'Doctor Who,' 'Star Wars,' Legos, beer, wine, RPGs...

LOL!

I'm surprised at how many of you don't like wine and coffee. I mean, like, I don't know if I can stick around here anymore.

Things that everyone likes that I don't.... hmmmmm....

Wine? Haha. I just don't like the taste of it. Blech.
Pedicures/manicures... I just don't have the desire to spend time doing that. My nails are unpainted 90% of the time and I'm ok with it.

Yes to both of these! I can stand to drink one or 2 super sweet wines, but I rarely bother. I'd rather eat my calories. ;)

I like manicures (even though I never actually make time for them), but pedicures drive me batty. Never again.

And tv, too. I can go 6 months at a time without ever turning it on, and then it's probably because DH and I wanted to watch a show together. Give me a book or computer any day!

The words bae, for realsies, and sorrynotsorry.

Can we add blessed to this list too? No you are not #soblessed because you found a close parking spot at Target. :D

Here's one for all the sports fans: Russell Wilson. I find his whole act so phony baloney with his magic water, secondary viriginity and God freakin talking to him during the Super Bowl. I will not be the least bit surprised if some kind of Tiger Woods-level scandal comes out about him at some point.

Vanessa, you have to like Kylo Ren AKA Adam Driver because he is from my hometown (and where I'm living 10 minutes from now)! Mishawaka, IN has produced exactly one famous person, and he's it. :p

Greys Anatomy.
Plaid.
Sushi.
Wine/Alcohol.
Coffee.
Mushrooms.
Oysters (seafood in general).
Avocado.
Shopping.
Clothes/fashion/shoes/heels.
Adele.
Being social/parties.
Exercise.
Jamberrys lol (they do not work on my nails).

THE COLOR PINK ---- Hate it with all my heart

FLOWERS AND LEAVES IN SCRAPBOOKING ---- I know, all kits have them but I hate them. I´ve learn to use tini tiny paper flowers as scatters... but I try to avoid them.

In food: Coffee, Avocados, Watermelon, Papaya, Mango and Milk
Any sweet and sour combination or sweet and salty...

TV: Scandal, How to get away with Murder, The Walking dead (vampire girl here).

Android telephones (don´t understand them and I hate to even touch them)... Is Blackberry or iPhone for me

I hate coffee and tea the smell of either makes me feel ill. I think it may be because I worked at a Tim Hortons when I was a teen and used to smell like it all the time.

Will Ferrel. I have never, in my entire life, laughed at anything he has said or done. I'm pretty sure that I might be the only person in the world who doesn't love Elf, but I don't. I even tried watching it on a flight overseas, where there is literally nothing else to do, but I turned it off like half an hour into it because I would rather sit and stare at the seat in front of me than watch that movie.

Also zucchini is gross, and so is eggplant. And quinoa? Gag.

Plus, I don't like holiday themed kits. I just feel like I can only use them for one thing, and that is why I've been using the same two birthday kits for the last five years.

You're not alone :)
I can't stand comedians in general (unless they're REAL good). On that note, I can't stand Jim Carrey and the last version of Dumb and dumber (Dumd and dumber to, 2014) was the worst "comedy" I've seen in my life.

I don't like beer. The smell and the taste... yuck! I'd prefer wine.

I don't get the hype over Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

I am surprised too, im the only one here who doesnt.
when we go out to a restaurant or so , always have drive because of the family and friends im the one that doesnt drink ;)

Dont like will ferrel either, now there is the new zoolander and every time they a commercial from the movie and i see him i think, he is so not funny !

I hate coffee. Sushi. Yogurt. Wine, beer and liquor. So I'm probably not normal but it is what it is!

I don't think Will Ferrel is funny either, but I did watch Elf for the first time at ever at Christmas and it was funny even if I don't like him. I don't like the slapstick comedians I prefer more hmm what's the word ....sarcastic humour like Jerry Seinfeld.

You know surprisingly it would seem scrapbooks are a tad anti-social, given we need pictures of people for our books LOL

I hate coffee too. And I'm another who isn't a fan of The Walking Dead. But I love sushi. ;) It's been an acquired taste after a couple of visits to Japan.

One thing that has been making my eye twitch lately is when people include kisses ('xxx') at the end of every. single. message they send someone. I get images of a person kissing me after everything they say and it just creeps me out haha.

The x's are hugs and the o's are kisses. I also totally do that. :o

In Australia we've always been told that the x's are kisses and the o's are hugs. :) Apparently they can be interpreted either way. I always include them in cards so I'm definitely far from innocent, I just get this weird feeling when I read them all the time haha. It's just me - I'm not a very touchy-feely person. ;D

I don't like Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) at all!
I don't like anything too minimalistic in art and design -- c'mon, a canvas with just a dot/circle? Thanks but no thanks!
I like the xoxo thing though (btw, in my native language it looks/reads like Santa's ho-ho-ho lol)
