Concert videos

Ok, tell me something. You go to a concert and have fun, take some videos and pictures.

How often do you actually go back and watch the videos?

I’m working through my photo reel (I have 40,000 photos in my iCloud photo reel) by searching the current day and it brings up all the photos taken on that day over the years. Much more manageable than tackling a month or year at a time. I’m deleting the duplicates, bad photos, or ones I just don’t know who/what they are anymore lol

Today apparently is a day I like to go to concerts- I have several different concerts on today’s list of photos and videos, and many many videos that I’ve never watched.

Am I crazy for wanting to delete them??! Never watched them again after I came home, why do I feel the need to take them???

Funny but true! I will go through & delete the ones I don't want- I usually keep a few- my favorite songs or similar. In google photos- I often will make a folder for concerts & have all the videos/photos & then link a qr code to it for scrapbooking purposes.

I too have been deleting duplicates, screenshots I don't need and the like. I only really back up on the 'cloud' but still like to clean up my desktop photo folders too!

I delete them from my phone after several years, though I do have a copy of it in my EHD.

I have 1000's of concert photos / videos - I do go back and watch them, but at the same time hate that they are taking up space (even though space isn't an issue - lol). I remember, back in the day, when photos and videos were NOT allowed! Have fun taking a trip back to those concerts @tjscraps

I would keep one or two that you feel like really captured your enjoyment of the concert and then let the other ones go. I have been going through older folders of photos and I've been pretty ruthless. All the photos I took of the same subject trying to get that one perfect shot . . . I don't need 30 photos of the same thing . . . so I've been pretty brutal. I have 149,997 photos right now, and I'm sure that number will continue to slowly go down as I delete more and more. Although I do continue to take photos every day.

I love the idea of having a QR code link your printed layout to a video that you have online. I rarely take videos so it's not something I do, but @AmieN1 has done it multiple times.

Hope you find a solution where you feel comfortable culling those videos!
