computer help needed...ack Im locked out!!

so I don't even know why I have a password on my computer. Everyone I live with knows it anyway and now it's a problem. When I turned my computer off saturday night and went to turn it back on Sunday morning it kept rejecting my password. I know it hasn't changed. No one else has changed it and neither have I but it won't let me in!! I've checked caps lock, etc. Everything seems fine. tried booting in safe mode but it won't let me do that either, needs the pwd then too. Does ANYONE have any suggestions? would SO suck not to be able to play on Black Friday

Mine did this the other day! It turned out that my n was not working on my keyboard.

i thought it may be a keyboard issue so I pulled up the onscreen keyboard and used that and it still didn't work it's vista, an hP if that helps any...i'm at a loss

My Dad's PC had a nasty virus that was causing similiar problems. I had no clue what to do, but I found this site
http://forums.techguy.org/
and they helped me fix that computer. They have tons of techy kinda people, so give them a try.

So did you do this Amy? Don't put your password in, but leave it blank?

Try running in safe mode and try logging in with the default administrator account - leave the password blank

Or try this maybe?

I would probably call HP if the other suggestions don't work. Their customer service is actually quite helpful!
