Computer Geeks....

I'm feeling the itch for a new computer too.. but i just got this one a year ago, so I'll prolly have to just upgrade the RAM and stuff. LOL

I look at Macs all the time, but I just don't think I have the patients for the learning curve.

Here's a question... my laptop has a 17" screen which was a must have when I was designing. Now though, I'm not designing anymore... just havin a blast scrapping. Do you think the 15" screens are adequate for scrapping?
 
Laura, are you working on a laptop?? I use a 15 inch screen on my laptop and honestly, it doesn't bother me. I did make sure that I have amazing color and clarity though. :) I love the SOny Vaio screens.
 
Yep, I'm on a laptop. My laptop before this one was a Vaio and it had a great screen. This one is great too, but I'm wondering if it would be nice to size down a bit... it gets a little tough to move around with this one... hence, the death of my portable EHD.

I've got a 15" screen too and it is perfect for scrapping! Definitely not too small... plus the lappy is still a good size if you wanna GO places! ;)

I have a 21" screen and I dont think I could go any smaller without pulling out my hair. It took sooooo long to get used to and now that I am i wouldnt want to go smaller. So I guess what Im trying to say is, its probably adequate, but will you be able to deal with the downsize, I know I sure as heck couldnt?
 
I don't have a lappy, but i do know the bigger they are, the heavier they get. I'd think it'd depend on how much weight you're willing to tote around.
Macs are lovely. But i had a choice, i'd still stick with what i have (for what it's worth,lol) because there are simply just some things you can't do on a mac that you can with a windows machine.
