Closed Without Saving

Grrrrrr.....accidentally closed a PL layout I was working on and was DONE with. All I had to do was save it. Thought I was closing some elements I still had open, but apparently I clicked on the layout itself. GONE! Hours of work. :crying: Anyone know of a trick to get it back???

Ughh...I've only done that once. Felt terrible. But since I had really done all the hard work figuring it out, it didn't take me too long to recreate it. Sorry....

I'm sad to say, this isn't the first time I've done this. You'd think I'd learn! But, yes, you're right...it is a lot quicker the 2nd time around!

Oh, no! Do you have a cloud backup that saves even when a file is open that you could restore at least some of it from? It's bad enough to lose a regular LO like that; I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to lose a PL layout! (My PL layouts take forever!)

ETA: Glad you were able to do it quickly the 2nd time.

Because PSE tends to crash on me at the worst possible moments, I've developed the habit of hitting Control Save every few minutes. If I don't, well, Murphy is likely to strike.

I'm glad you were able to recreate your page, tho!
