Clay Aiken is a daddy!
The former American Idol contestant and music producer Jaymes Foster welcomed a baby boy Friday morning, the singer said in a statement on his site

Parker Foster Aiken was born at 8:08 a.m., on August 8th.
“Wow … 8:08 … 08/08/08,” added Aiken.

That may be the scariest thing I have ever heard...I am, I don't know..

Did you know, the woman is way older, like 42? They are "just friends".

I know it's been a while. I'm sure you know, it's been a full full summer. Sorry we haven't spoken in so long. But, I'm sure you know… I hate putting the cart before the horse. My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)
Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow… 8:08 ..08/08/08
Weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 19 inches
The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also.
The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.

8:08am on 08/08/08, what are the odds of that?! Congrats to them I guess, it's still more than a bit weird. :D
 
hmmm... I wonder if they doctored that... I mean, what are the chances that he was born exactly at 8:08 ON 08/08/08? I bet they rounded up or down... born at 8:09 or 8:07...

You know, I like Clay's music & all, but personally I found this whole "I'm gonna be a daddy, but I don't have sex with this woman" thing kind-of disturbing. I'm sure there are LOTS of girls out there willing to have his baby the normal way, haha! Why do it artificially with someone so much older?

Pretty good if you have enough money and celebrity push to get the OB to schedule the c section right when you want. :thumbdown:

(I'm just guessing of course but ummmmm my EYE that baby was born right at that exact moment without help)
 
I read the article and she isn't 42 she's 50! Can you believe that. Weired, and I still love his music.

Oh that's what I was thinking too. They probably watched the clock for this one.
 
I used to love Clay but after finding out this whole story I have a really hard time listening to his music even! It's just like Melissa said, so Michael Jacksonish! LOL!
 
Are you guys hatin' on gay people or nerdy people? I can't decide. :) If so..you must all hate La.
 
Who is La? Oh, I don't hate on anyone, but just be honest, kwim? It's really none of our business who he likes, so I should just keep my big mouth shut! LOL! I will say, when he sang Bridge Over Troubled Waters on AI, I had CHILLS, I tell you! I still remember that. Wow, it was amazing!
