and I think I just bought the one gift I can't WAIT to give lol. We got my parents a new DVD camcorder...to replace their vintage 1987 relic that they still haul out every holiday lol..I'm not kidding..it's one of the old HUGE camcorders that uses VHS tapes..the kind that had to sit on your shoulder it was so heavy...they bought it when I was 13 and I'm 35 now so I'll let you do the math b/c it depresses me a little lol...
Anyway..it's been a running joke for the past few year b/c my parents are of the mindset that if it still works why replace it? So when it became apparent that VHS tapes would soon be obsolete my mom stocked up on them so she'd have some and my poor Daddy always gets designated to be the video man and he has to stand in the corner by an outlet b/c the battery died years ago and of course you can't buy a replacement for it anymore..so he has to be able to plug it in...it's really hilarious, but I think it's time to let "old Bessy" go and join us in the year 2009 lol
