Christmas kit ideas

Hey ladies,
Christmas is coming soon...
Only 1 month and 4 weeks to wait!!!

So I think I could post some suggestions I would love to see in a kit.

It reminds me the great Sinterklass kit Willemijne did last year. We don't celebrate it but I had lots of fun using it (winks to Sarah).

I would love to see more specific european items but but could be versatile enough for everyone?

I think of the Advent calendar, the Advent wreath with its 4 candles, cakes like the buche (log in chocolate or vanilla or strawberry), the stollen (more in Germany). Mulled wine and Christmas markets.
The installation of the Christmas nativity scene.

And I'm also thinking of Epiphany after Christmas or the Day of the King with a kit for the galette des rois (cake) with a porcelain bean and a crown or the brioche crown with candied fruit. The wise men and their gifts for Jesus.

Here are some ideas if a designer is interested. Lol.
I have lots of photos of all of this.
Afterwards there are lots of other traditions in Europe or in other countries, share them, it's always nice to learn what you do! :)

ooh... great idea!! Even though in the US, we incorporate a lot of European traditions into our Christmas. My son loves to study how Christmas is celebrated in different countries!

I would love to have a December Daily album template set... I'm kind of burnt out on the ones I've been using. Also some fun Christmas dates.

So, my husband works in the shipping industry, meaning that his busy season starts around early Nov, and runs until New Years. He usually ends up working 6 days a week (not overtime since he's salaried) and we end up missing out on a LOT of Christmas things we would LOVE to do as a family, but just can't because of his schedule. It's kinda the sad side of Christmas.

So, what about a shopping, shipping, missing out type kit? Waiting for the delivery guy, online shopping, full calendar, no time off, working overtime type thing?

Another one, more happier note is I'll be home for Christmas! I have 3 college students who will all be coming home (2 driving, 1 flying). So travel around Christmas, going/coming home, time with family.

I am curious with what you mean with European traditions?
Lol it's a difficult question as if I talk about french traditions for Christmas, a lot come from the north of Europe especially Germany and some of the south.
I find an article to explain a little more but of course we don't do all, it's just a peek of what I have in my head!:)
I know most of us celebrate the same way with the same traditions.

Your ideas are great too!:)

Here's a European kit that has elements that could work:

Amanda and Wendy's Around the World series has more Europe specific kits. Not necessarily Christmas themed, but you could pick and choose elements to fit.

We do Advent Calendars every year and would love a kit that works for that. Also maybe a kit that focuses on having a big, traditional Christmas but more like a small thing. IDK, we keep it just our tiny family and go out for Sushi every year. Non-traditional traditions? lol

Thank you so much Jacinda! I think of those ones but I don't manage to have all the items I have in my head! Lol!:p
