Christmas Books Countdown

I wanted to share this blog post I just came across, for those of you with little ones. It sounds SO fun to do, I'm gonna have to file it away for my future kiddos.

We've done this in years past, too. We just have a big box now that we let a child choose from every other night about what our reading time will be. I no longer wrap since it's a waste of paper (yeah - I'm a scrooge that way), but getting to be the person who chooses the story tonight is still a big treat for our boys. It really makes each evening so special!

i was just organizing books yesterday and pulled out all the Christmas ones. I don't think I have 25 of them ... but I will be incorporating the ones I have into our daily Christmas activities

Love this! I'm thinking of doing it but with Christmas movies! My kids won't sit still for books.

lol! That's what I was thinking, only exchange your scrooge for my cheap/eco-freak! lol!

It really is a cute idea too, especially for those kids (like my 4 year old) who ask if it's Christmas yet, every single morning after the tree goes up!

You could make a cute little christmas bag for the book that day. Just put the next day's book in when the kiddos are asleep
