just wasted an ENTIRE box of those vegan "chicken" nuggets I buy.. they're expensive- as far as nuggets go you know lol.. and now all in the trash!! ARGH! I've been fighting to get him to eat all day.. so the first plates worth.. instead of eating, he decided to nuke for 5 extra minutes while I was switching the laundry-- ended up with some nice rock hard nuggets :D .. second plates worth.... he dumped on the floor!!

I'm more annoyed cause I can only carry so much from the market kwim.. so we don't have all this food to be wasting... and I'm extra cranky on top of it :D
 
i am sorry but i am laughing that he nuked them for 5 more minutes while you weren't looking!! kids!!!

i have a 19 month old so i just assume it will all be on the floor in no time...
 
OK you will love this one.....my DS2 squirted a buttload of ketchup on his plate once ( i mean enough for like 6 people) so my DH made him suck it through a straw. I kinda thought it was mean at first but he did it and learned his lesson in a major way!!! He has not wasted food since then and don't think he ever will!!!!
 
I have 2 cats but I still emply the 5 second rule. And something crunch like nuggets can be brushed off :)

Drives me nuts when the boys ask and ask for something and then only eat a quarter of it.
 
oh man i understand your frustration! You would think it was xmas the way the kids flock to the kitchen the minute we get in the house with groceries LOL
 
I have one of those too. He's currenlty staring at a piece of pizza, has been for about 30 minutes. My theory is he can't bring himself to shut up long enough to actually put food in his mouth. talk talk talk talk talk. but no eating.
 
lol oh ce use to do that...... then I gave him a time limit to eat :D :D he gets 30 minutes total.. and then he's done. no questions asked :D of course, if he ate nothing I wrap it up for tomorrow lmao.

eeeeew that is disgusting....I think I lost my appetite - (good thing I am off to weight watchers in a min!!!)
 
LOL Food wont last more than 5 seconds on my foor because I have 2 furry vacuum cleaners waiting for food to magically fall from the ceiling... hhha... I dropped a whole clove of garlic and one dog hoovered it up before I could bend down :glare:

I am laughing at the 5 minute nuking though! Maybe he just wanted to make sure they were cooked properly :p
