Chicago vacay....Hotel Options?

Hi ladies.....

This year is DH's 50th bday. The Taste of Chicago always falls near his birthday and he's always wanted to go.

We are extremely picky about hotels. We want to book in advance and stay as close to Grant Park. So anyone have recent experience with a great hotel close?

I'm not sure where Grand Park is, but when went for our anniversary awhile back, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and loved it.

It was close to the L. We took the train in from Ann Arbor, so it was pretty easy to get from the train station to the hotel too. I think we just took an uber.
