Chicago-Places to eat

Sean and I are going on Thursday-Saturday for our 10th Anniversary, and I'd love to hear some good places to eat, that won't break the bank.

He has a pizza place someone told him to go to for a good Chicago slice. We're staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, we're planning to go to Second City to see a show and do the field museum and the aquarium. So that gives you an idea of where we'll be.

Hot Doug's if you want a real Chicago Dog. It's about 10-15 mins from your hotel. They're cash only the last time we were there, but they're super cheap and yummy. We also like Ann Sather. There is one only a few miles from the Hard Rock. All their soups are homemade and the Swedish dishes are the reason to go. If you want more upscale, Trencherman is also yummy and only a few miles from your hotel.

Thank you! We want to get a real Chicago dog too for sure!

Hmm.... I am going to have to watch this thread. We plan to take a little road trip to Chicago sometimes this summer and I can't remember any of the places we used to eat when visiting our fam.

We are going to Carnivale & I forget the sushi place. I'll look again.
