Ugh. Is anyone else feeling miserable today?

My nose is sooooo stuffy, it's in my ears and my eyes, I can feel it. I've got 3 kids here that are medicated somehow or another today, plus me. Should probably save the Nyquil till they go home, huh? LOL

My Dh is sick ... my kids all have colds ... so far I'm okay, but I expect to be sick soon with all of the germs flying around here!
 
It is the season, isn't it? I had mono last month and I pushed it too hard to get things done for Thanksgiving and now have gone backwards and I'm very fatigued again... plus I don't know if it's just allergies or the beginning of a head cold... better up my Vit D. :)
 
I've had a yukky cold since Tuesday last week after standing around the school for 35 mins in -1 weather because my eldest had to be there early, but they wouldn't let me wait inside with Harry!

It's clearing now but I'm left with an awful cough! I hate being poorly!
 
i'm another sickie. i've had a sinus infection for awhile but i'm too stubborn to go to the dr. LOL

mads has had a stuffy nose/cough for a couple weeks now too. gotta love the weather change!
 
Uughh. It is rough. My boys had head colds for about a week, and just as they were getting better I got it. Horrible head/ear pain, and then felt soooo nauseous the next day. Didn't take anything since I'm preggo...but the nasal rinse and sleep helped. Back to the land of the living today!
Hope this season isn't too rough on everyone!
 
Ugh. I'm a part of the club! The past few days my throat has hurt so bad, especially when waking up. Such a pain! I can't wait for it to go away!
 
That sinus rinse is amazing stuff! I use a nasal decongestant, nose drops, but quickly get addicted and then even when the cold does go away, I'm still plugged. So the rinse really helps with that.
 
Such a bad time of the year to feel bad, I hope you feel better soon!

My 9 yr old was diagnosed with pneumonia this morning. Hes had a fever since Wed and the doc said he wouldn't expect him to feel much better before this Wed!
 
Serious chest pain today. I took some Robitussin and that sort of helped but man if I didn't have an appointment I would have stayed home but frankly I need the money.
 
Jaime and I are both sick! I thought I was getting Strep the about 10 days ago but it never fully developed, then my husband ended up with it 2 days later. Now we both have nasty colds and the cough is horrible... we're getting no sleep and can't breath. I just hope the girls don't get it.
 
I have a sinus infection from that cold that lasts forever. I went to the dentist today for a check-up and told the him that my teeth hurt. He said it's the sinus stuff because my xays are good. My eye hurts too. I've been putting heat packs on my face all day today because of it. ugh. This is day 7 too. And I'm on antibiotics.

And my DS5 is a mess with sinus stuff too.

NO FUN!!!

I hope all of you feel better soon! I wish we could share healthy, get better germs instead.
 
I beat the cold this year! Yay! However I didn't beat the flu. With nowhere to go for germs for my lungs, sinuses, or general cold ridden areas; I got a terrible terrible flu that lasted all week last week. I'm finally feeling better today. I take an antihistamine daily and a nasal spray. Those seem to help me from getting colds too even though it was for severe allergies. veramist I think is the spray.
 
Hubby and Ian both have strep right now. I did something strange to my neck this morning, and I'm in some pretty good pain. Hope all you other sickies are feeling better soon.
 
Mine isn't a cold but I woke up this morning with a miserable sinus headache and pretty much spent all day laying on the couch with either an icepack or a heating pad on my face. Fun times. :thumbdown:
 
Yeah count us in too. I got a nasty virus that lasted two weeks and then just as I'm getting over it, DH brings home something new and decides to share it too. We've both got nasty congestion and coughing. Ugh.
 
Tomorrow is day 7 of a nasty cold for me too. Sinus problems, congestion, sore throat, coughing and now larengitis. DH came down with it on Saturday so I'm sure it will make its rounds a few times through our house. :(

I hope everyone gets better soon!!!
 
My DD and I have a bit of a cold too. Stuffed up nose, cough, and tired. Which reminds me - I need to go around and disinfect things today, Lysol spray anything we touch a lot like the tv remotes, phones, doornobs etc... and wash linens.
 
starting week FIVE of this dang sinus infection/cold from H-E-L-L!! Finally got some antibiotics that appear be to doing their job, after the last two things we tried didn't work. Thankfully I am the only in the house to have got hit, although I think we are due for a round of the flu, since just about everyone I know has been hit with a 24-hour bug in the past week, except my house! As long as it doesn't hit this weekend, everything will be good.
 
Yeah I'm on week 5 of bronchitis and last night my ears and throat became involved. Time to bring out the heavy guns and ask one of the docs I work for for an Rx of sorts. I need help !!!
