I posted this in the wrong forum. Doh. Time for another cup of coffee :p

How has your style changed since you started scrapbooking?

LOL! Caffeine is always helpful ;)

I started as a paper scrapper - cutting my photos into shapes with decorative scissors (YIKES! That's just embarrassing looking back!).

So just switching to digi changed my style a lot. My style hasn't really changed much since I started digiscrapping. Maybe I've gotten a little more clustery?

Coffee always fits, lol
hugely! I think it happens to all of us; we learn through practice :)

I am so much better at layering, clustering, and shadowing now.

I think the biggest change might be that I actually have a scrap budget now so I have themed kits that I can use. I'm so spoiled having actual elements that look like my topics.

Definitely better shadowing and clustering than when I just started. I did try a lot of different styles; minimalistic, imaginary scenes with lots of extraction, pocket page, etc. But I am comfortable with what's mine now :)

I started as a paper scrapper about 25 years ago. I actually didn't scrap that much - I mainly collected supplies. LOL I don't recall using shaped scissors to cut photos - maybe just the mats and journaling blocks. But I have always been a simple/minimal scrapper - I have always wanted the photos to be the focus of the page, and I like to journal. That has not really changed. I started digital scrapping almost 20 years ago. I am still a simple scrapper, but I use small clusters and elements with dimension, which I never really liked to do in paper scrapping, as I wanted the pages fairly flat. The dimensional stuff tended to leave marks on other pages when the album is closed.

mine changes with every page, I like mostly extracted scenes but don't use much of the kits I have doing that so I try and do more normal LO's with flowers and pretty elements. if that makes sense.

Like others I started out paper scrapping, cropping photos and cutting edges with fancy scissors. Limited amount of papers (mostly white backgrounds with a little paper behind photos).

Since digiscrapping, my style has changed quite a bit. My shadows are better, I have become much better at clustering and even using a template. I have even enlarged my font on my layouts since I print in 8x8 and found that my font was way too small to read it when it was printed out! My "style" hasn't changed much. I still want the focus on my photos and I still like to journal to tell the story. I still tend to fill my pages with quite a bit. I still don't like to try new things, or go out of my comfort zone when scrapping though.
