this one little boy in ce's class is CONSTANTLY giving ce snacks.. (ie gummy snacks.. like those fruit gummies, fruit roll ups etc crap snacks lol). Ce knows well enough not to eat them at school jic (finally got this drilled through his head) because of his allergies.. but this kid will not stop LOL.. he (the friend) doesn't approve of ce's kashi bars (which he brings every day by choice).. and has started bringing extra snacks from home to give to ce o_O ... lol it's sweet.. and .. strange all at once

DS2 wants to share his chocolate covered animal crackers with those suffering with just the plain ones but school policy is absolutely no sharing of food due to allergies & illnesses. They get a note sent home if they try to share food.

Poor kid was so confused why he wasn't allowed to share when I spend so much time encouraging him to share with his brother & friends wheen he is at home.

Oh no! Now I know what I'll have to deal with when my son starts kindergarten next year!!! Luckily this year his preschool serves the food so everyone gets the same stuff... next year's gonna be a pain in the butt! lol!

I think you need to talk to the teacher about this...would be awful if the "good intentions" caused some kind of allergic reaction in Ce...they just don't understand if "I can eat it...it's safe and he can eat it too"....dealt with that quite a bit as a Room Mother for 14 years.

oh he knows... he got in big trouble for eating a cookie @ school. he is bringing this stuff home, if it's not something he can bring home he tells them no way.. it's just silly at this point. I'm goign to tell his teacher on tuesday when I see her after school though-- I know there's a kiddo in the class with worse allergies than ce too so they need to keep an eye on the swapping fer sure
