Can't stay logged in?

Ok, this has finally gotten to me.

At work, I stayed logged into everywhere, all day long, day after day. I don't even have to log into each site in the morning (here, MSA, DST, etc).

But when I come home, if I don't do something in the forum for like 5 minutes, it logs me out. I've dealt with it for...mmm.....months I'd say. But now I just want it fixed.

I tell it to remember me, I've cleared my cookies and then told it to remember me again. And my computer isn't going into save mode or screensaver or anything like that.

Anyone have any ideas??

Is it unique to SSD, or everywhere?

Sorry, I should've posted that.

I use firefox both at work and at home.
And the not staying logged in is everywhere, not just ssd.

I hope you figure it out honey. I noticed that mine does this when I just clean my cookies and then kinda works itself into its own groove, its super annoying though!

what are your cookie settings in the privacy tab of FF?

^ That's what I'm wondering, if it's a Privacy settings &/or some kind of firewall issue.

I know on my Mac, I can set it up for Private Browsing, which I use when I do my internet banking. If I forget and leave it on, I can't stay logged in at any of the stores or forums.

My settings are:
remember pages I've been to for a day
remember what I type in pages and the search bar

accept cookies and keep them until I close firefox

clear private data when I close FF
ask before clearing (and I always tell it not to clear so I'm just gonna change that now)

I have mine for 90 days and do not have it set to clear when I close FF. For whatever that's worth.

You don't connect using AOL, do you? Because that would do it.

I'm gonna change that setting too, just for kicks, lol. Leave it for a week or something and see what happens, lol.

well, I'm sure I'm no help here, but it has done it to me before when I go to the gallery.
