Cancer Free!!!!!

As many of y'all know, my Mom was diagnosed w/breast cancer back in November. In December she had a double mastectomy and started chemotherapy. She finished her last chemo treatment in June & had a pet scan done last Monday. She got the results back today & got great news! The oncologist told her that she's completely past the stage of remission, she's completely cancer free!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Thank you all SO much for all your prayers!!!
There is a little concern though. From the chemo, she has an enlarged spleen and her liver counts are really high. She will have an ultrasound tomorrow morning at 7 to try to determine what exactly is wrong and how they can fix it. They believe it not to be cancer though! So, please keep up the prayers! They definitely are working!!!

That's great news! I had a partial mastectomy in April and thankfully didn't have to do chemo this time around, bless her for going through it all and SO glad to hear that it's gone. I hope everything else comes back clean- I'll be thinking if you!
