Can someone who uses PSE

I've got a friend who is having trouble with PSE. I use CS4, so I'm not sure what she's talking about here. Here's her message to me:

My photoshop seems so be in permanent "crop" mode, I can't get it back to normal mode (where you have a listing of editing options). HELP!!!!!!!!

I told her I'd ask around to see if anyone has any suggestions.

Above the 'move' tool are two little arrows (that point either left or right) and above them is an arrow that points down. Click on the downward pointing arrow and you have the option to reset the current tool or all the tools. If she clicks on the crop tool and then goes to select 'reset tool' it *should* fix the problem...
