Can someone tell me about Webkins?

Okay, so my oldest child is just three and a half now, and grandma gave her a webkins for Easter. Miranda is great at computer games of all kinds (nick jr, pbskids, etc. have loads of games) and so I thought I'd register the thing. But I don't get it - what is it you're supposed to DO with the webkins account online? Can you play games? Help!
 
Yup there are games to play, you can use your KinzCash to decorate your pet's room and buy food & stuff for them. My girls are 5 and 7 and love their Webkinz, they each have several.
 
We have Webkinz here and the kids love them. My DD just should me that they have a new part for younger kids. Simpler games and easier to move things. Like Shawna said you earn coins to buy stuff. Food, clothes, cool stuff to put in your room. You only need one account and every Webkinz you get just add the code and adopt them. They all live together in the house. And the webkinz on the computer is exactly like the one you have. You get to give them names too. Have fun!!
 
The arcade is a great place to earn kinzcash, along with doing the daily activities/kinz care. (For the kinz care, click on the pet's image and select kinzcare...you get coins and free food for each day you click.) Since your little one is only 3½, you'll probably do most of the real earning. Quizzy's Place is a great spot for quick and easy earning. Just answer trivia questions for points. When I'm doing D's account, I do the easiest level of questions. On mine, I do the hardest.
 
omg I haven't checked on my kids webkinz... since... I don't even know. Do they die?? This could be a problem.

Haha Kaylie's are probably all sick then, she got grounded from Webkinz back in mid-March for adopting her lil sister's brand new Webkinz onto her own account and when she finally got un-grounded her room wasn't clean so she hasn't been able to log back in yet! Maybe I better go chack on them just in case lol!
 
Is there a good way to get lots of points? I have a feeling I'll be taking care of this little cat... I get like this, all parental over every stupid imaginary computer thing. I had to delete the Sims off my computer years ago because I was OBSESSED... :)
